The Carmi Rotary Club met on Thursday, July 21, 2022 without a formal speaker, so the Rotarians on hand used their time to discuss a variety of topics. First up, the club discussed next week’s meeting, when the newly inaugurated district Governor will be on hand. Mary Harvey, of the Mt. Vernon, Illinois club will make her first official visit to Carmi, as the 22-23 DG of the southern Illinois district. The club is hoping for a very strong turn-out of Rotarians and guests for this important visit.
