The former Carmi Times building was purchased by the county last year for $50,000.
The White County board on Tuesday night gave the nod to spending an additional $104,353.00 to finish the siding on the back and east side of the former Times building on Tuesday. The board, with David South attending by phone, were presented with the decision to finish siding the building and make repairs on the part that is not under the remodel contract at the moment.
