Did you know that the Norris City Public Library is a member of the Illinois Heartland Library Share System? What does this mean? It means that not only do our patrons have access to the library materials in our library, they have access to material from libraries across Southern Illinois. Find books, audiobooks, movies, TV series, and more on our card catalog. You can now access our card catalog online at nccp.illshareit.com or download the Share Mobile Library App. All you need is a Norris City library card in good standing. When you login select the Illinois Heartland Library as your library, your library card number is your username and the last 5 digits are the pin number. The Norris City Library Board and Staff would like to send a special THANK YOU to everyone who helped make our summer reading program a success. First we would like to thank all of our presenters: Rend Lake Park Ranger –Teagan Osborn, Shawnee Nat’l Forest Rangers – Vincent and Bruce, White Co. Ag in the Classroom – Katie Peters, and Milly Pate. Thanks to our volunteers: Maggie Hansborough, Roger Hobbs, Denise Karns, Janet Lamb, Johnny Payne, Gabby Ray, Jaleigh Sullivan, and Alice Sutton. Thank you Banterra Bank, Suzy’s Tropical Sno, and the Wonder Market for your sponsorship. Thank you to the Villager’s Voice and Kathy Sands for helping to promote our program. Last but not least thank you to all the parents, grand-parents, and caregivers that took time out of their busy schedules to bring the children to summer reading.
